Settings You Can Adjust in Schooliee for Your School

Every school handles fees, exams and communication a little differently. Schooliee includes settings for several of these areas. This post lists the ones we can confirm.

Fee Settings

• Late fees can be set as a percentage or a fixed amount, and can be turned on or off per student.
• Sibling discounts are entered manually for each student. They are not applied automatically by birth order.
• Fee discounts and write-offs are recorded as accounts in the ledger.
• Bank challans are printed in three copies: bank, school and parent.
• Each student or family can have a 1Bill consumer number.

Exam Settings

• Grading thresholds can be customized to match your school's grade bands.
• Passing marks can be set for each subject.
• Subject weightages can be set, so that a subject total is calculated from its components.

Message Settings

Automatic WhatsApp messages can be used for attendance, scheduled fee reminders, payments received, diary and exam notices, and announcements.

Other Modules

• Timetable and diary or homework
• Admissions form on the school website
• Library, inventory, payroll and staff records (including salary slips, staff loans and attendance deductions)
• Complaints, double-entry ledger, reports and Excel or PDF exports
• Student family profiles, activity audit logs and session rollover

What Is Not Included

• Transport management is not a feature.
• Multi-campus management is not a full feature. Schooliee supports an owner with more than one school in a limited way, so confirm this with the team before you assume it fits.
