Schooliee's sender is a Windows desktop app. It connects to WhatsApp Web through QR pairing with your school's own number. It is not the WhatsApp Business API. Messages go into a background queue and are sent from there. If sending fails repeatedly, the queue stops so that staff can check the connection. Schools using Android can also send SMS from their own SIM, though carrier charges apply.

Parent access

Parents can use the parent portal on the web, or the parent app on Android and iOS, to view information about their child. The complaints module gives the school one place to record and follow up on concerns, and the chat module supports messaging within the school.
